RealTracks Artist Bio: Peter Leitner

Peter Leitner was born in Lienz in Tyrol. After joining the local music school in Carinthia, and winning the Austrian music contest for children "Prima la musica" two times, he began to study music education in Klagenfurt. After finishing his Bachelor degree, he continued a Masters study for concert trumpet at the University of Arts in Graz.

Currently, Peter Leitner is working in Salzburg as a music teacher. Beside being member of "Die Lungauer" he is also singer, composer, and trumpet player of the famous modern wind band "Die Fegerländer" (European champion in bohemian windmusic).
