RealTracks Artist Bio: Fred Eltringham

Fred Eltringham has been a professional drummer for over 20 years.Originally from West Chester Pennsylvania, his musical career began in the 90s when he played for the Gigolo Aunts around Boston. Presently, he is based out of Nashville and is known as Sheryl Crow's full time drummer. He has also toured and recorded with many famous artists such as Miranda Lambert, the Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson, KD Lang and worked on the soundtrack for the movie Country Strong! Recipient of the Academy of Country Music's Drummer of the Year Award, his list of professional accomplishments is inspiring and has made him one of the most sought after studio drummers in Nashville.

Most recently, he released a lofi cover album called Take Cover with his band The Get You. The album is a bold collection of reimagined "deep-cuts" with songs featuring Sheryl Crow and Kacey Musgraves.
