RealTracks Artist Bio: Michael Rhodes

Michael Rhodes was known as one of the best touring session bassist in Nashville. He recorded with numerous artists such as Neal McCoy, Chely Wright, Doug Stone, Wynonna Judd, the Dixie Chicks, Reba McEntire, Tanya Tucker, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Faith Hill, Steve Winwood, Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson, Rodney Crowell, Joe Bonamassa, and many others.

Michael grew up in Monroe, LA where he heard many country, Cajun, and blues influences. Later on in the 70s he moved to Austin Texas, then went to Nashville where he continued to make great music.
