RealTracks Artist Bio: Nicolas Zacarias

Nicholas Zacarias is an upright and electric bassist, known for his jazz, tango, and classical repertoire. He graduated from UNLA (National University of Lanús) with a degree in music and a specialty in chamber and symphonic work. He also graduated from the Higher Technique in Jazz at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, as well as obtaining degrees from other prestigious music institutions.

He has performed and toured with a variety of groups, such as the "Valetango" sextet, with whom he recorded two CDs: "Badi" and "Tango Baile." He has also been a member of "Sexteto Meridional," "Min-On," "Tango x2," and more.

He is currently part of the "Fabian Bertero Big Band" and he is also a teacher at the Avellaneda School of Popular Music, where he teaches Double Bass.
